Community Update to Potential Development in Kingsland Country
An 18‑acre parcel within KCPOA has drawn recent attention. Earlier concepts—including a 72‑unit town-home project and potential subdivision—were found to conflict with KCPOA’s single‑family‑only Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions.
During mediation on February 5, 2026, the property owner confirmed that the town-home proposal is no longer being pursued. He reported no current development plans and indicated his intent to sell the parcel in its existing condition.
The mediation concluded without an agreement. Homeowners near the parcel are encouraged to report any land‑clearing, equipment, or activity so KCPOA can remain informed. Updates will be provided as latest information becomes available.
