Resident Alert! A Big Change May Be Coming
We’ve learned that a developer may be planning a condominium complex of up to 72 units, on 18 acres of undeveloped land in Kingsland Country.
Why This Matters
- Our Covenants, Conditions, & Restrictions (CC&Rs) specifically designate all parcels as single-family use only
- A high-density development like this would dramatically alter the character of our community and clearly violates our governing documents
- This property is wooded, home to local wildlife, and serves as a natural buffer
- The proposed complex would significantly increase traffic in our residential area, compromising the safety of our pedestrians, school-children, and cyclists.
What we’re doing
As soon as KCPOA became aware of this development, we began actively working with Marion County, including the commissioners.
We have also retained an attorney to assist in handling any legal issues. We will do our best to keep you updated of any major developments.
